Lotus was erg kort in zijn persbericht zonet: “Er valt niets te melden”. En gelijk hebben ze. Heikki Kovalainen probeerde nog wel mee te doen in de geimproviseerde bootjes-race door de pitstraat, maar ook daar was hij veel trager dan de Red Bull-bootjes. ZIjn bootje schoot tenminste wel niet in brand…

After qualifying was postponed until Sunday in Japan due to the torrential rain, Lotus Racing has nothing to announce for the first time in several weeks.
