Meteen bij de start van de GP van Groot-Brittanniê kwam het tot een zware crash. De Chinees Guanyu Zhou werd aangetikt en schoof ondersteboven in de grindbak. Volgens de eerste berichten zijn alle betrokken rijders oké en uit de wagen.
