Er komt heel wat kritiek van F1-fans op de taakstraf die Max Verstappen moest uitvoeren tijdens de Formule E-race in Marrakech.
Max Verstappen voerde gisteren een deel van zijn taakstraf uit die hem werd opgelegd naar aanleiding van het incident met Esteban Ocon tijdens de GP van Brazilië. De Nederlander moest tijdens de Formule E-race in Marrakech de wedstrijdleiding ondersteunen.
Heel wat F1-fans begrijpen de straf van Max Verstappen niet en uiten er dan ook felle kritiek op. Verschillende fans menen dat het een erg ‘zachte’ straf is die eerder een PR-stunt lijkt om de Formule E wat extra onder de aandacht te brengen. Anderen menen dan weer dat ze best ook wel zo’n straf willen krijgen …

Can’t help but feel that the @fia is sending the wrong messages about @FIAFormulaE.
– It’s a punishment (or public service) for @Max33Verstappen to have to attend a Formula E race.
