Tijdens het begin van de F2-sprintrace op de Red Bull Ring kwam het tot een zware crash waarbij Meguetounif ondersteboven over die van Luke Browning vloog. Meguetounif liet echter snel weten dat hij oké was, al werd de sprintrace uiteraard wel onderbroken met een rode vlag.
